The TAP Kids Program offers 25+ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Self-Defense classes weekly for children ages 3–15. Our nine programs strengthen your child physically and mentally while building habits that help them grow into their best self. Through martial arts training, we develop respect, confidence, self-discipline, and inner strength. Your child will learn practical fight skills alongside important core values and life lessons.

First Intro Class | For Kids, Men and Women of All Ages
First Intro class is the ideal starting point for everybody of any age and any level of BJJ experience. This program builds a strong relationship between professor and students. It helps build the foundation of your journey through essential tips, technique adjustments, and understanding positional control from both top and bottom. The curriculum introduces core concepts that are vital to your Jiu-Jitsu development. Through a step-by-step approach, you'll gain the knowledge and confidence needed to begin your martial arts journey.
Goals: Our students will first learn basic disciplinary rules and boundaries through tailored classes. Under the expert guidance of World Champion Professor Thalys and Abbi Pontes, they practice essential skills like falling safely, standing with confidence, and holding training partners correctly. Through fun exercises, games, and guided practice, they discover simple moves and learn to use their strength appropriately. These engaging activities foster good behavior, enhance movement skills, and develop social awareness to prepare new students to join our Family of Champions!
HomeSchool Class (Level 1-2) | Age Group : 6-8 and 9-13 years
Goals: Under the expert guidance of World Champion Professor Thalys, students learn detailed explanations of rules, boundaries, and jiu-jitsu concepts, including when, how, and why to engage in a fight. They practice important skills like how to fall safely, maintain confident posture, and hold onto their training partner precisely. Through guided games, practice, and sparring, they learn simple moves and how to use them appropriately. These activities help them develop good behavior, better movement capabilities, learn fighting skills to defend themselves, and greater social awareness in a class environment. Classes: Wednesday at 10:10 AM until 11:50 AM
Tiny Champions Class (Level 1) | Age Group: 3–6 years
Goals: Our youngest students learn basic disciplinary rules and boundaries through playful classes. Under the expert guidance of World Champion Professor Thalys Pontes, they practice essential skills like falling safely, standing with confidence, and holding training partners correctly. Through fun games and guided practice, they discover simple moves and learn to use their strength appropriately. These engaging activities foster good behavior, enhance movement skills, and develop social awareness in a class environment. Classes: Tuesday at 3:30 PM until 4:15 PM

Little Champions Class (Level 1-2) | Age Group : 4 – 7 years
Goals: In our fun and supportive classes, children learn basic rules and boundaries. They practice important skills like how to fall safely, stand confidently, and hold onto their training partner correctly. Under the expert guidance of World Champion Professor Thalys, students learn simple moves through games and step-by-step practice, developing the ability to fight and use their strength safely. These activities help them develop good behavior, better movement skills, greater social awareness and more focus in class. Classes: Monday and Wednesday at 3:30 PM until 4:15 PM
Champions Class (Level 1-2) | Age Group : 7 – 12 years
Goals: Under the expert guidance of World Champion Professor Thalys, students learn detailed explanations of rules, boundaries, and jiu-jitsu concepts, including when, how, and why to engage in a fight. They practice important skills like how to fall safely, maintain confident posture, and hold onto their training partner precisely. Through guided games, practice, and sparring, they learn simple moves and how to use them appropriately. Big Champions Class (Level 1-2-3) | Age Group : 10 – 15 years

They practice important skills like how to fall safely, maintain confident posture, and hold onto their training partner precisely. Through guided games, practice, and sparring, they learn simple moves and how to use them appropriately. These activities help them develop good behavior, better movement capabilities, and greater social awareness in class. Classes: Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30 PM until 5:15 PM

Mighty Champions Class (Level 3) | For all ages by invitation only!
Goals: Led by World Champion Professor Thalys Pontes, our Mighty Champions program prepares students for hard core fight or Jiu-Jitsu championships through high-level strategies, physical endurance, mental toughness, breathing techniques, and competition-specific drills. Students develop advanced tactical awareness and master effective techniques for attacking, counterattacking, and controlling opponents. Through challenging training and strong support, our program fosters personal growth helping students overcome fears, build lasting confidence, and develop mental resilience. Classes: Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30 PM until 5:15 PM
Entrance to this class requires instructor approval.
Combat NoGi (MMA Class) | For all ages by invitation only!
Our MMA Class empowers champions to effectively apply their Jiu-Jitsu skills against strikes, kicks, and holds. Students learn to effectively use their fists, arms, elbows, legs, knees, shins, and feet, developing both offensive and defensive capabilities. The techniques incorporate full-body movements, using agility and pressure to maximize precision during attacks. Through drilling and sparring Jiu-Jitsu against strikes, children develop laser-focused self-defense skills. This focused training not only builds practical abilities but also instills a sense of calm and confidence that extends beyond the mat.
Classes: Monday and Wednesday at 5:45 until 6:30 PM Entrance to this class requires instructor approval.
Competition Class (Level 4) | For all ages by invitation only!
Goals: Led by World Champion Professor Thalys Pontes, our Competition Training Program prepares students for Jiu-Jitsu championships through high-level strategies, techniques, and competition-specific drills. Students develop advanced tactical awareness and master effective techniques for attacking, counterattacking, and controlling opponents. Through challenging training and strong support, our program fosters personal growth helping students overcome fears, build lasting confidence, and develop mental resilience.
